Bin Laden holds his first and only press conference to help publicize the fatwa he published several months before.

Referring to the group that signed the fatwa, he says,

“By God’s grace, we have formed with many other Islamic groups and organizations in the Islamic world a front called the International Islamic Front to do jihad against the crusaders and Jews.”

He adds later, “And by God’s grace, the men… are going to have a successful result in killing Americans and getting rid of them.” [CNN, 8/20/2002]

He also indicates the results of his jihad will be “visible” within weeks.

During the "NATO" invasion of Afghanistan, on August 20, 2002, fake news connoisseurs, CNN broke the "news" of yet more fortuitous finds, reportedly in another of OBL's "safe houses."

CNN : Previously unseen tape shows bin Laden's declaration of war

This time, the finds included 4x4x4 video tapes, one of which, reportedly showing OBL declaring war against the United States and the West.

According to CNN, the tape was a recording of OBL's first and only press conference, allegedly staged on May 26, 1998.

This August 20, 2002 CNN report received widespread media coverage, effectively publicising and reinforcing the alleged "OBL Fatwas", for domestic consumption, especially in the US.

The Atlantic : Hitler's Forgotten Library

Hans Frank, Hitler's personal lawyer and the "governor" of Nazi-occupied Poland, recalled before his 1946 execution at Nuremberg that Hitler carried a copy of Schopenhauer's The World as Will and Representation with him throughout World War I.

Wikipedia : Arthur Schopenhauer

Arthur Schopenhauer ( 22 February 1788 – 21 September 1860 ) was a German philosopher.

He is best known for his 1818 work The World as Will and Representation (expanded in 1844), wherein he characterizes the phenomenal world as the product of a blind and insatiable metaphysical will.

Carlos Whitlock Porter :  Schopenhauer quote on Jews attributed to Schopenhauer by Hitler.

There has been some discussion as to the source of the Schopenhauer quote on the Jews -- attributed to Schopenhauer by Hitler -- describing them as the “Masters of the Lie” ["große Meister im Lügen"].
I have always wondered why this quote never attracted more attention. The Jews almost never mention Schopenhauer, but if Hitler had been wrong, they would be the first to claim it proved Hitler was ignorant or lying through his teeth. At the same time, no English speaker seemed to know the exact source for it.

The quote is authentic. It is not a mistranslation, nor was it taken out of context.

It appears in a footnote appearing immediately after the following passage in a dialogue on the subject of religion:

The Jews are the scum of the earth, but they are also great masters in lying

[Auswurf der Menschheit, aber große Meister im Lügen].

[literally: "and were therefore regarded as cattle, scum of the earth, but also great masters in lying".]
